I have seen the glory

So, they shut off my cable modem over the weekend. It’s a long and complicated story, but basically it has to do with a five year old debt to the cable company (a write off from a breakup that never got paid…those things seem to keep haunting me for some reason) and my registration for free cable, which I am entitled to as an employee of a cable contractor. I got the mixup cleared up Monday, and thus was able to renew my primary passion for life, which is avoiding this webite at all costs. This passion will only be fueled thanks to my new “other woman” - my new DVR! (Cue “Price Is Right” win music.) It’s hella sweet, and only made sweeter by it’s fat price tag - 0$ a month. (Cue “Price is Right” win music.) It is a wonder to behold. And I’m sure I’ll get a chance to use it as long as Carolina doesn’t figure out how to record every L&O:SVU episode.

Ironically, I actually got some work done on a site redesign as a result of this downtime, and if I ever get the impetus to finish it up, you’ll see some interesting changes here. I know I’ve said this, what, hundreds of thousands of times before, but since there’s actual work behind it, there may actually be something done this time.

We’re off to beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada this weekend, to soak in some of the fine sights of Sin City, and we just might get in an Elvis sighting. This trip should actually have pictures too - ones we can publish, to boot!
